First, we do not strive to be the quickest repair shop around. Our technician is careful and thorough with each device to minimize mistakes and to ensure a flawless repair. Each device and repair is unique. Currently, we are a mobile repair service, offering on-site repairs at your home, office, local meet-up spot, etc. or, if agreeable, our technician may complete device repairs at his home office. We order most replacement parts on an as-needed basis simply because we do not have the revenue, as of yet, to keep a surplus of parts on-hand. Once the replacement part(s) is in-hand with our technician, usually next-day, a typical smartphone repair takes 25-40 minutes. Tablet/iPad repairs take longer, usually an hour to hour and a half, because they are larger and have more parts and pieces to remove compared to smartphones. Our technician typically likes to allow adhesives to cure for a few hours or overnight, if possible.

  3. If agreeable, you will pay the required deposit and our technician will order the needed replacement part(s) from our vendor.

  4. Within 1-3 business days, our technician will contact you once the replacement part(s) arrive and arrange to complete your device repair.

  5. Our technician will meet-up with you, as arranged, and complete your device repair.

  6. You enjoy your repaired device!
Since we are a new start-up, we do not have adequate revenue to keep a surplus of parts on-hand, so a deposit allows our technician to order the required part(s) to complete your repair. Unfortunately, in the past, our technician has had many customers commit to a repair then go "ghost" after arranging the repair. This behavior costs our business money and leaves us with unnecessary parts until another customer may need them, which could be days, weeks or even months. In conclusion, a deposit assures our technician that you will pay for the parts and labor when the job is complete. It's unfortunate, but we cannot rely on the old-time "honor system" in this day and age.

Your deposit will be subtracted from your overall repair cost once the repair is completed.

Let's face it, every industry that uses replacement parts have access to different levels of quality on parts. We typically offer two levels of quality to our customers, especially for replacement screens.

Option 1: Premium/OEM Quality, or A+ Quality, which is the higher price point option.  Premium quality parts meet original manufacturer (OEM) specifications and are the highest quality offered to repair shops. When compared to the original part that came with your device, the part(s) should be identical. There should be a very minimal differences with our premium replacement parts.

Option 2: Aftermarket Quality, or B Quality, which offers a quality replacement part at a lower price point. When compared to the original part that came with your device, you may notice the differences and blemishes (i.e. - dimmer screen, softer glass) more easily as opposed to our Premium quality replacement parts.

Nonetheless, all of our replacement parts, no matter the quality, include our lifetime warranty.
Our primary service area is Wythe County and within the Town of Wytheville, however, our technician does travel to surrounding counties. We typically meet customers at their home or local meet-up spots, such as public parking lots, coffee shops and businesses/offices. Additional charges, if any, are based on mileage and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
After replacing certain parts in a device, especially Apple® devices, you may receive a message saying "Important Message" or "Unknown Part." These messages are typically temporary, displaying for a few days or up to fifteen (15) days. These messages are nothing to be alarmed about as they simply mean there has been a new component installed on your device. These messages typically appear after the battery, screen or camera have been replaced.

Our technician uses a programmer to transfer data from your old part(s) to your new part(s) to ensure proper functionality and to minimize these error messages, however, in some cases, they may still appear on your device.
Yes! If you have multiple device issues or multiple devices to be repaired, please notify our technician so we can quote an accurate price. If multiple repairs are completed in the same sitting, a discount will be applied.
For routine repairs, no information will be lost. We recommend you backup your information on a regular basis as our technician is not responsible for data loss.
Typically the answer is no. Basic repairs do not require our technician to go passed the lock screen on your device. However, allowing our technician access to your device passed the lock screen will allow him the ability to test the functionality of essential parts of your device. Otherwise, our technician may ask you to unlock your device and test the functionality of essential parts prior to the both of you approving the repair.
Unfortunately, no. We do not offer microsoldering, which is required for these types of upgrades. Our technician can connect you with other repair shops that offer this service.
Once you realize that your device may have been exposed to moisture, turn it off and do not attempt to charge it. Most devices will continue to function temporarily after being exposed to moisture. If moisture reaches any internal part of your device that carries an electrical current, it could create a short circuit throughout the entire device and render essential internal parts useless. This would cause you to lose all information, including photos, contacts, text messages, files, etc.

IMPORTANT: Rice will do nothing to absorb moisture from your device. This "trick" is only applicable to ancient flip phones. Get your device to our technician as soon as possible.
